Tesla Reportedly Tests Dogecoin Payment Option, DOGE Climbs 12%

Electric car maker Tesla is said to be testing a payment option for cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE). According to a report published by The Block, most non-technical people can’t see the DOGE payment option yet due to the “hidden feature”.

However, the backend of the Tesla payments website for Dogecoin is now active. A software engineer with the name ‘Tree of Alpha’ on Twitter told The Block that most of the code is already in the latest JavaScript files that Tesla uses to process payments.
